The Garden Larder at Cowdray Herb Garden Sunday 7th June 2015

This Sunday, 7th June 2015, The Garden Larder will be joining in the fun courtesy of The Anonymous Travelling Market at Cowdray Herb Garden. Surprisingly neither Ted nor I have been to Cowdray Herb Garden before (which we are reliably informed can be found opposite Cowdray Farm Shop,) so we are both very excited!!!

The Anonymous Travelling Market

Emma & Rae, founders of The Anonymous Travelling Market are renowned for making shopping a fun experience, combining great local produce with fun and games for all ages. As a Dorset based due, it is fantastic to see the market travelling to West Sussex! All of their markets are located in lesser known but amazingly beautiful locations, and encourages everyone to find out exactly what local talents are around whether creative, edible, quirky or just plain out there!

The Event

The Anonymous Travelling Market roll into town on Sunday 7th June 2015 between 11am – 4pm, and you can find us under the trees in the Herb Garden close to the Cowdray Farm shop.

The Market includes a colourful choice of delicious street food, artisan makers and producers, arts, crafts and  vintage stalls, as well as demonstrations from wood turners and walking stick makers. There is live music all day, and lots of childrens activities including make a Mr Potato Head, sing along with Emma and the Magic Bag, Barrel Bug tractor rides & face painting.

For our doggy friends there is also a fun dog show from 12, including Most Handsome, Prettiest Bitch, Owner Look-a-like, Fancy Dress, Fastest Sit and Best Trick (and yes, our fur babies may have to be entered!!!
